    Review: ElecHead

    Shockingly good fun!

    Simply put ElecHead is one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had. I know that is a bold statement! It’s right up my alley, so it already had that going for it before I even downloaded it! Very little narrative (it’s almost non-existent), with great mechanics and, most importantly, bite sized puzzles that need to be overcome. No map, very little hints, so it’s down to you and your ability to use the the relatively basic mechanics. At least, they seem easy….

    ElecHead is similar to BoxBoy and other amazingly frustrating titles. Takahashi-san is a game designer that you are definitely going to be cursing a lot for many hours and hopefully many years to come!

    Completed in just under 3 and half hours ElecHead is a game that is definitely worth spending an afternoon/evening on and will definitely leave you wanting more. Thankfully Nama Takahashi (https://namatakahashi.itch.io) has some other amazing games including Öoo, which I also completed recently.

  • Awrite mate?

    My name is Andrew and this is my first post.

    I’ve wanted to have a wee blog for some time, mainly as a hobby and a place to journal things that I like/find interesting. I am 40 years old and live in Glasgow, Scotland. I listen to a lot of Goose, play video games (badly) and try to exist as best I can. I do not care for grammar.

    While I decide what I am actually going to put on here please listen to this banger of a track by Goose. Its been one I’ve had on a lot recently! The album version is a lot more filled out and epic. I was lucky enough to get to see them play live recently in London!
